Nick Allen is thrilled to be apart of yet another wonderful album in the Difference Music Makes Series. Currently, he is a senior at St. Thomas Aquinas High School. He has performed with several singing groups in the area, and has recently joined a professional choral group in Boston, MA, called the Boston Secession. Nick has received the highest Bass score in the State of New Hampshire in three of the NHMEA competitions, and has been apart of the MENC All-Eastern Honors Choir. In addition to helping the StarMight Foundation, Nick volunteers at his local AIDS Response center to help give back to his community.
Camden Brown is a 16 year old honor student at Oyster River High School, where he is a member of the Jazz Chorus, the Mentor Program, & the PIT (Coffee House Club). Cam was also selected to perform in the 2006 NH All State Honors Jazz Chorus as well as the NH All State Classical Chorus. Theatre is Cam's passion in life. He is an active performer in seacoast theatres, winning the "Best Actor in a Musical" Spotlight Award in 2005 for his portrayal of Thenardier in the critically acclaimed production of "Les Miserables, School Edition," with the Seacoast Repertory Theatre. Recent roles include Fiedka in the Seacoast Repertory Theatre's production of "Fiddler on the Roof" and the starring role of Tevya in the Oyster River High School Production of "Fiddler on the Roof." Cam will also be playing the role of Romeo in the Player's Ring production of Romeo and Juliet in June.
Chris Chagnon is currently a Junior at Coe-Brown Academy. He is very excited to be involved in the StarMight Foundation. Along with his experiences in Jazz and Concert All States, Chris participates in almost everything that is thrown at him, including his first appearance on stage last year as Marius in the production of "Les Miserables, School Edition". Chris has recently took part in the ACDA Honors Choir in New York City, performing in Carnegie Hall.
Kaleigh Cronin of Manchester NH is a 16 year old junior at Central HS where she ranks 1st in her class of 600. She is former 2 yr cast member of the PBS tv show, ZOOM, has played many leading roles in professional theater productions, and has sung at numerous charity, political and sporting events from Fenway Park to the White House. She is a State of NH Wayland Parker Scholar, member of NH Jazz Singers, CHS Jazz Band, and a 3 year member of NH Jazz All State, where she placed 1st as a freshman. She volunteers for many wonderful causes...amongst them: Kristen’s Gift, Special Olympics, Children’s Hospital, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Reach out for Youth, Make A Wish, The Santa Fund and The Women’s Sports Foundation. http://kcronin.com/
Alison Cusano is a freshman at The Hartt School/University of Hartford where she is majoring in Musical Theatre. She has grown up on NH Seacoast stages and hopes to someday grace the footlights of a Broadway stage. Alison’s versatility has earned her a 2004 Spotlight “Best Actress in a Musical” nomination for her portrayal of the crude and unsavory Mdme. Thenardier in “Les Miserables, SE”, and most recently the leading role of sweet and innocent Dorothy in “The Wizard of Oz”. She is very pleased to contribute to another outstanding Starmight project.
Hannah Forsley of Hampton, NH, is an 11 year old sixth grader at Hampton Academy. Hannah has been performing at many local theaters for the last six years. She also has been involved in many wonderful community service projects through the Starmight Foundation. Hannah really enjoys being part of the foundation, and hopes to continue with it for many more years to come.
Singing from age 4, Matthew Gagnon's passion for music has driven his desire to share the gift of song with others. From the early years through high school and beyond, Matthew has performed for thousands and taken the stage for several musical theatre roles, live concerts, and numerous fundraising events benefiting people in need. As a Coe-Brown Academy and UNH National Anthem Singer, Matthew received many awards including Outstanding Vocal Achievement to placing among the top 3 highest scoring Jazz Tenors in New Hampshire his sophomore and senior years. While studying Vocal Performance at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Matthew decided to pursue his musical and performance aspirations in Los Angeles and made the move November, 2004. At the age of 21, his current focus is on original material and he has recently become acquainted with the modeling and acting industry, as well, recently cast in an episode of the Gilmore Girls. Realizing he is blessed with many gifts, he thanks God everyday for a loving family, solid and stead-fast friends, and every opportunity that comes his way.
Lindsey Graham of Sandown, NH, is an 18 year old student at St.John’s University and is grateful to be involved in such a great foundation. She is the reigning “Miss Bedford” and holds other various titles, such as “Best Actress in a Musical” by Spotlight Awards, “2004 Miss NH Nat’l Teenager” and “2004 Gospel Female Vocalist of the Year” by North America Country Music Association International.
Maegan Sherblom 16 of Palm Coast Florida is a Home School Honor Student. Maegan has been involved in community service since the age of 6. She is accomplished in Theatre, Pageants, Modeling and Talent Competitions, The Starmight Foundation and Harvesters for the hearing impaired. She performed in Joseph, Evita, Once On This Island and the lead in The Fabulous Fable Factory. She was Pre Teen Miss MA and Pre Teen Miss of America 2000 to name a few. Her passion is music...She is a song writer and composer Watch for Maegan's first Single "Creation Point" available soon.
Courtney Smith is 18 years old and lives in Durham, NH. She is currently a freshman at Plymouth State University where she hopes to declare a major in English, with a minor in Musical Theater. Courtney was thrilled to get the opportunity to be a part of Starmight Foundation's service work projects, and hopes she can be a part of their future works.
20-year-old Scott Sutherland of Concord, NH is a student and Resident Assistant at the University of New Hampshire. He is currently pursuing a double major in History and International Affairs with a minor in Italian. Scott has been electric acoustic guitar for seven years. Along with his musical endeavors, he is an active volunteer, recognized as the Youth of the Year in 2004 by the New Hampshire Teen Institute. Passionate about Italian language and culture, Scott and has lived in “Il Bel Paese” twice during his college undergraduate experience. Scott is honored to be a part of this project and sends his warmest regards to all the performers and their families.
